My favourites were Sunnyside, Await Your Reply, the Sot-Weed Factor and, of course Infinite Jest, which remains one of my favourite novels. Least favourites were Freedom, The Day Watch and Pattern Recognition.

Some stats: Just one of the books was written by a woman; eight of the books were non-fiction; three were translations; and four of the books were published before 1944.
