technology writer and consultant

I've talked design with Sir Jony Ive, computing history with Vint Cerf, wearable tech with Fitbit founder James Park and then explained it all to a non-expert audience. My ability to do that is why my clients - from big brands, to start-ups and publishers - hire me.

Specialising in technology, my expertise is in translating complex concepts into concise, elegant, easily understood copy.

I've written for a range of newspapers and magazines, as well as recent books including Bye Bye Banks?, and Computerised You.

My background is in journalism so I can advise on editorial strategy, PR messaging and dealing with journalists.

I regularly speak at conferences, host events such as round tables and panels and give guest lectures to university students.
